Camp St. John’s | Starts July 8: All elementary-aged children are invited to participate in Camp St. John’s this summer! Camp St. John’s will meet for six Wednesdays this summer, beginning on July 8 and ending on August 12 from 3:30-4:45. Each week, children will enjoy a great time playing games, singing songs, making crafts, and gardening. Middle and high school students are invited to participate as camp counselors. Refreshments will be served each week. This summer, drop off and pick up will take place at the to sign in/out table in the parking area located behind the church, 100 S. Main Street, Southampton. Youth, teen and parent volunteers are invited to participate in “Counselor’s Day” on Tuesday, June 30 from 3:30 – 4:30 PM. Please contact our office for details.
Teenage Girls’ Small Group | Starts July 7: All middle and high school aged girls are invited to participate in the St. Andrew’s Girls Small Group. Laura Carlson and others from St. Andrew’s will lead this exciting gathering on Tuesday afternoons, 4 – 5 PM, from July 7 through August 11. This year, our discussions will use Kari Kampakis’s book, “Yours, Not Hers” to engage Bible passages exploring topics like love, trusting God, prayer, anxiety, grace, and rest. This group will meet at St. Andrew’s Dune Church. Please contact our office for details.
Confirmation | Starts July 9: This summer, Confirmation Sunday will take place at St. Andrew’s on August 2 during the 11:00 service. All youth seeking to participate in Confirmation will meet from 4 – 5 PM on Thursday afternoons for four weeks, July 9 – 30. Confirmands will engage topics including Holy Scripture, the Book of Common Prayer, church history, baptism, and Holy Eucharist. This year, confirmation class will take place at St. Andrew’s Dune Church. Parents are encouraged to attend as they are able.
