This 2004 biographical drama is based on the life of the legendary golfer Bobby Jones, the only player in the
history of the sport to win all four of the men’s major golf championships in a single season. This inspirational film follows a life filled with honor, sportsmanship, and family that shows how a physically frail, though morally strong
man won championships as well as the hand of his bride, the honor of his family and peers, and the admiration of
the world, always playing for the love of the game as an amateur.
Filmed on historic locations, it is the first motion picture concerning The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews that was given permission to film on that fabled course. More than a sports film, it is a story of character and
perseverance that will inspire everyone.
